Little Lady Locks is so much more than a charity providing hair loss services. We raise funds to help restore children's confidence, identity and emotional wellbeing, and we offer our support all year round.
Our services are free to under-18s who have lost their hair to alopecia, cancer treatments and any other medical conditions.

Every lock, every pound, every share
Each wig costs our charity up to £500 to make. Here's how you can help a child get theirs.
Donate monthly
A regular gift, all year round. Every £5 helps us buy the hair and materials when donations aren't enough. £50 provides a hair loss hat & headband; £500 provides a full custom lace wig.

Good to know
Do I need to book?
Children's fittings and hair donation cuts are by appointment, so please book a visit. You're welcome to pop into the wig shop and extension shop during opening hours, or book if you'd like a private appointment.
Are children's hair services really free?
Yes. All of our hair services are free of charge to anyone under 18 with hair loss, living anywhere in the UK. Every child is offered one wig or hair system and one hair accessory every 12 months.
How much hair do I need to donate?
We ask for 7 inches or more. Not sure if yours is long enough? Try our ponytail checker.
Can I donate my old wig or hair extensions?
Yes, please! Bring old wigs to the wig shop. We accept hair extensions of any brand, method and colour.
Do we have to come to Failsworth for a fitting?
Not always. Boys' hair systems are also fitted through our network of specialist hair-loss barbers across the UK, and our team will talk you through the options when you apply.
Can I bring the whole family?
Of course. The house was made for families. Fittings happen in a calm, private salon, and there will be plenty to do downstairs once the café and charity shop open.
